Movie vs. Pictures – originally, a “movie” was called a “moving picture” (动画片), so the companies’ names are probably related to that old use of the word “picture”

Screen – to show a movie, especially in a theater
e.g. Before the movie is released, they are going to screen it for the cast.
Cast – the people who acted in (and maybe also those who produced) a movie

Steady / Stable / Stagnant – these all mean that something is constant, not growing and not shrinking; but, “stagnant” is a negative word, meaning that also that something is not changing, or adapting, when it should
e.g. While the Chinese film market is growing, the US film market is steady/stable.

I traveled a lot recently, and I just came back from Hong Kong. I have come back to Beijing. I went to Hong Kong to attend a annual meeting of a company which is called Alibaba Picture. The company is a movie company. Domestic movies, and they also produce and invest domestic movies and tv dramas. The company also has online movie ticketing platform, with a name called taopiaopiao. It is a second largest movie ticketing platform in China. You know, there are about 90% of Chinese movie viewers buying tickets via internet.
