Vocabulary

Field Trip – when a class travels somewhere together to learn about the world by experiencing it instead of reading
e.g. The class took a field trip to the museum to learn about Chinese writing.
e.g. The class took a field trip to Tiantan Mountain to explore nature.

Tired vs. Tiring – tired is when you don’t have any energy; tiring is an activity that makes you feel tired, that takes a lot of energy
e.g. I have been reading all day, so I feel tired / after climbing Emei Mountain, I was very tired.
e.g. Reading academic papers is tiring / climbing mountains is tiring.
