crop of analysts/ a crop literally means like a farmer’s vegetables – what he grows – in the field / here Goldman Sachs is harvesting people / specifically this means this “crop” is this “class” or “selection” of people that you can choose from

First, let me preface this by saying that what I will share is based on my own experience – I’m not saying that it will be true for everyone – but these are my opinions and perhaps they will be instructive/helpful for you all.

So me and maybe another guy who‘s name is Ray – he gets a higher pay than me maybe 30% [let’s suppose he receives a higher pay than me] – we will assume that this is the situation. The reason I think is that for one definitely my performance is not better than him / I think the reason for this is: perhaps his performance is better than mine.

Try and speak in the ACTIVE VOICE – by putting the subject first!

So if that this is the situation than I will think about women shift more focus not her families…if this is not the situation, if that not because we’re not having different performance it’s because maybe the boss likes him more. Maybe Perhaps because he’s man, maybe the boss is a woman – so the different gender attracts / so opposite genders are attracted to each other / opposites attract. Another reason maybe perhaps is because Ray is good at flirting/slapping/flattering — so that is what I think. So that’s my opinion there.

From In my opinion, and my observation, I think the supervisors or the senior managers in the company allocate more resources to men. It’s like both the projects or both the same level of their position [seniority] / both of these people have the same seniority (this means they are both at the same level) and level of authority….maybe they give him a better project…maybe they give him more funds (P)….so if they give him more resources and give him more help…men will definitely have a better performance than men. ..will put men in critical position [for success] / will position them in more critical roles.

Men seem to be – it’s like male and female – men and women are good at different things. For me, for in my opinion, men are very good at sales-oriented jobs…they are very good at persuading people/at persuasion…to influence at influencing people…the women it seems more able to do things like talking [relationship building/communication] / with women it seem like they are better at things like talking / with women it seems like they are more capable of building relationships and communicating with people
