arrogant 傲慢 / is someone who is rude because they think they are better than everyone else.

e.g. Nick’s sister-in-law graduated from Cornell University —it’s an Ivy League school, so she’s very arrogant about it — she thinks if you did not graduate from an Ivy League school, you are worthless.

e.g. “Oh YoYo do you like my beard? Well Nick, if I’m speaking honestly, I think your beard looks pretty stupid.”

e.g. Nick is a clear-minded person. (ADD the “-ED” = DESCRIBING)

e.g. Nick has a clear mind. (NOUN)
