Last weekend, I made a small trip to visit Suzhou museum with my friends.
Suzhou museum is an iconic location in Suzhou, also is a beautiful building with minimalist design. Mr.Pei , who is the architect of the building, he put a lot of straight lines on it, and mixed black and white colors smartly.

Inside the building, there is a large Chinese garden which is made of rock hills, ponds and plants.

I think that Mr.Pei has chosen trees carefully for creating the garden vide. Many bamboos and pine trees make the museum as beautiful as Suzhou traditional gardens. Water is everywhere, green is everywhere. The shape and formation of the windows on the wall were simplified, you could get a wider view, could capture more poetic picture in your eyes.

The design of the lobby roof is my favorite. Light could pass through the bamboo-roof and bright the hall, you could even see the beautiful shadow stay at the pure white wall. Yes, let the light to do the design!
What a successful fusion with eastern culture and western modern design.
