Writing exercise

Yesterday I tried to make Turkish coffee again. I once did it by myself before, but I messed up. In the process of this time, my dear Nemo give me some help with cooking. Of course, we couldn’t make it face to face, I would be taught by him through FaceTime.

First, according to his directions, I put about a cup of water into a small pot which is the cooker of Turkish coffee. Then, I set the pot with water on the stove and turn down the fire. And then, waiting for the water was boiling, I took the pot off the stove, and added one and a half spoon of coffee grounds into the water. After that, I stirred it and set it on the stove again. Later on, I didn’t do anything else, just staying and waiting for a rolling simmer again. it would be cooked for about 2 minutes. Until the water mixed grounds was close to boiling, l saw much golden foam became to rise, I turned off the fire quickly and put the coffee into a nice coffee cup. It was done.

Finally, because of Nemo my good coach of cooking, it’s a sure thing that I got the success of my Turkish coffee. It’s easier to make it than I imagined.

Yesterday I tried to make Turkish coffee again. I already did it once by myself before, but I messed up. This time, my dear Nemo gave me some help with cooking/preparing the coffee . Of course, he couldn’t help me  it personally, he was giving me directions/instructions/tips through FaceTime. He wasn’t present physically but he was helping me through FaceTime

First, according to his directions, I put about/around a cup of water into a small pot which is a special pot for making Turkish coffee. Then, I set/put the pot with water on the stove and turn down the flame/heat. And then, I had to wait for the water to boil, I took the pot off the stove, and stirred in one and a half spoon of coffee grounds. After that, I put it back on the stove again. 10 to 15 seconds later coffee came to a rolling boil. it took me around 2minutes to prepare Turkish coffee. Once the coffee was close to boiling, l saw a lot of golden foam rising, I turned off the heat quickly and poured the coffee into a nice coffee cup. It was done.

Thanks to Nemo’s help my little project was a success, also it is much easier to make a nice cup of Turkish coffee than I previously/originally thought.
