After the Chinese new year, I came back to Shanghai from Beijing. It was the craziest thing I have ever seen in the airport of Shanghai. You’d walk in, there’d be tension, or you’d cough in someone’s face, someone would be panic to leave me alone.

When I went out of the terminal, a staff stopped me and took me to a small quarantine area that was made of yellow lines. He took my temperature and asked me some questions. The number one question they always ask was“Hi Sir, are you from Wuhan or Hubei?” “No!”I answered. And the next question always was “Have you been in contact with someone from Wuhan or Hubei?” “Where are you coming from?” …After more questions and answers, I left the airport and went to my place.

And then, I stayed at home and started the life of self isolation. No meeting up, no party, no shows, no sex…that’s so boring😱! I was very confused when I saw many people stocking up with instant noodles or tinned food or toilet paper on TV news. I know people need food, need toilet paper, but there is no reason to panic. If you are panic, nobody has anything, if nobody has anything, there is more panic, it becomes a vicious circle. You can buy something online, or go to the market once a week, there would be ample supplies. If you go outside, please avoid crowded places and keep social distancing from others.

How should I spend my prolonged break? During these days indoors, I cooked more to kill the time, and now my cooking has improved a lot. Maybe I should invite my friends to my big feast after the outbreak.

There were many tips about being through the period of self isolation on Instagram. You can do a live broadcast, or being a hairstylist for your family, also you can finish some confinement challenges from your friends, such as 50 press ups, Yoga challenge, and so on.

Now, the situation is stable in China, but it’s getting worse in other areas of the world. Take care and stay safe, my friends who are in Europe now, I’m thinking about you all the time❤ .

Hope all is well and getting better soon. ❤ 💙 💛 💚 💜
