Friends
1. What do you usually do with your friends?

My friends and I usually like to go to eat food

2. How long have you known your best friend? How did you first meet?
I know known my best friend for three months. We meet met at the High school

I have known my best friend for 3months. We met at high school.
3. What do you (and your best friend) usually do together?

We usually go to eat food and chat together 

4. Which do you think is better, to have many friends or just a few closefriends?
Just a few close friends, because I want to have best friend

I think it’s better to have just a few close friends, because I want to have a best friend to talk to

5. Do you think friendship is important? Why or why not?

Yes I think friendship is important because I can  want to have some friends to eat food with me.

6. Do you prefer to spend time with friends or spend time alone? (Why?)

I want/prefer to spend more time alone because I like to play the game

7. Are friends more important than family? (Why?)

I think family is more important than friends because I have to live with my family, I don’t have to live with my friends. Anyway, I like my family more than my friends.

8. What kind of people do you like to have as friends?

I usually like to make humorous friends.

The kind of people I like to have as friends, are people who are humorous/ have a sense of humor.

e.g. I stayed up late chatting with my friend on the phone.

I use wechat to chat/talk with my friends

Sense of humor– humorous

The sentence “that person is humorous” becomes “that person has a sense of humor.

Sympathy, to feeling sorry for someone
eg. I heard that your cat died, I feel sympathy for you right now.

Empathy, we don’t just feel sorry for the person, we really understand what they are going through.

eg. I hear that you cat past away recently, I really empathize with you, because my cat also died recently and I felt sad like you must be feeling right now too.

Patience 耐心

Eg. I want my friend to have the patience to listen to me.

Prefer

Eg. I prefer cats more than dogs

Anyway

eg. I prefer to eat fruit rather than chocolate, fruit is better for you anyway.
Eg. Even though it was raining outside, I went for a run anyway
