Speaking exercise

Last year November was my birthday. My husband send me earphones with a string. It’s colour is blue I say to my husband, “I need a earphone, you can buy it for my birthday present”. I think it’s convenient for me, he will not choose for my birthday. The only thing he have to do is search for different kind of earphone in the internet, the colour, the type. He searched for 3 or 4 pictures and send me which one that I like. Then he bought it for me.

If he didn’t buy it, I will buy it myself because I need it. For my husband, he’s the opposite. He actually wanted to surprise me. He wanted to buy me a present as a surprise. But, I don’t like it so I told him, “No, I prefer to get some earphones”.

Actually, he will tell me “No, I don’t want to buy this because you when you use it up, it will be gone”. Sometimes, I want cosmetics, but he will think if I use it up it will be finished. He like to buy the thing, maybe special. Sometimes, he want to buy me flowers, but I don’t want. He likes to make newspaper flowers.

Last year November was my birthday. My husband gave me some wireless earphones. It‘s colour blue. I said to my husband, “I need a new pair of earphones, you can buy it for my birthday present“. I think it’s convenient for him, he doesn’t need to choose anything/think about what to buy for my birthday. The only thing he has to do is to search for different kinds of earphones on the internet and pick the colour, the type etc. He found 3 to 4 pictures and sent them to me to ask me which one I like. Then, he bought it for me.

If he didn’t buy it, I will buy it for myself because I need it. For my husband, he’s the opposite. He actually wanted to surprise me. He wanted to buy me a present as a surprise. But, I didn’t like it so I told him, “No, I prefer to get some earphones”.

Actually, he will tell me, “No, I don’t want to buy this because when you use it up, it will be finished/will run out “. Sometimes, I want cosmetics, but he will think if I use it up it will run out. He prefers to buy things which are meaningful. Sometimes, he wants to buy/gift me flowers, but I don’t want them. He likes to make handmade flowers.
