Speaking exercise

When they leave to SH, I remember it was February 1st. The returning time was February 8th from Sri Lanka. The coronavirus was broken at that time. We heard many flights were cancelled from other places to the Mainland. Luckily, the company, Cathay changed their flight so they managed to come back. They actually took the flight 2 hours early. My husband also found that there’s less customers on the flight.

This was the first time only two guys share a trip together. No mummy with them. So the luggage is very simple. I think Sri Lanka’s weather is very hot so there was no need for them to take clothes to buy things. During that period, when I was in SH, when we need to go to public places, we need to wear face masks. After they came back to SH, we found out that there was only one person founded positive in SL. The temperature is very high, they can swim and go to the national park. They booked a jeep and they could see a lot of tigers. They also enjoyed the food there, it’s also very cheap. The people over there are also very nice and they can speak a bit of English with an accent.

Our plan B is if the flight from HK – SH is cancelled, we were planning to buy a ticket from SL – SH. Although we would have to pay a lot. Another thing is they could eat a lot on the flight.

Revised:

When they left SH, I remember it was February 1st. Their return date was February 8th from Sri Lanka. The coronavirus outbreak took place at that time. We heard many flights were cancelled from other places/destinations to the Mainland. Luckily, the company, Cathay rescheduled their flight so they managed to come back/return. They actually took an earlier flight which was 2 hours early. My husband also found that there were less passengers on the flight.

This was the first time where the two guys went on a trip together. I did not accompany/go with them. So their luggage is very light/so they packed light. I think Sri Lanka’s weather is very hot so there was no need for them to bring more clothes. During that period, I was in SH, we must wear face masks to go to public places. After they came back to SH, we found out that there was only one person was tested positive in SL. The temperature was very high there so they could swim and they went to the national park. They rented a Jeep and they saw a lot of tigers/wildlife. They also enjoyed the food there, it’s also very cheap. The people over there are also very nice and they can speak a bit of English but, with an accent.

Our plan B was if the flight from HK – SH was cancelled, we were planning to buy a ticket from SL – SH. Although we would have to pay a lot more/have to pay extra. Another thing is they could eat a lot/indulge on food on the flight.
