Speaking exercise

This week I saw a few movies about Second World War. This movie give me deep impression nuclear weapon. I learned the history about China and the world history during that period, but I never actually feel the difference. When I saw this movie, it give me great insights on the difference between China and around the world. China was very backwards during that time. I know we just have guns and we don’t have scientists and we don’t have industries. The Japan fight invade China . I didn’t know why the small country can invade the big like China, but then I know Japan has a lot of senior weapon. They’re very unified and they’re good at study about technology. The Chinese didn’t have any ability to resist so more than 300,000 people in this period. Japan invade China for about 8 years, but the other countries in the world like America, they have strong scientist and technology. They have enough resource so they can research strong weapon to resist.

Some Americans said, “they thought that they would be happy if the Japanese was killed”. They supported the government to drop the bomb. It express how people hated the fascist so I don’t saw any compassion towards Japan in the documentary. For Japan, they lost 2 city and they lost about 200,000 people, but for China, they lost 1 city and 300,000. Other countries in Asia like Singapore were also invaded by Japan. China was affected by traditional values so it was closed off from the rest of the world. The leader at the time, was more concerned of his status and power than trying to develop different aspects of country’s infrastructure.

Revised:

This week I saw a few movies about the Second World War. This movie left me a deep impression on nuclear weapon use. I learned the history of China and the rest of the world during that period, but I have not really felt the difference. When I saw this movie, it gave me great insights into the difference between China and the world. China was very backwards during that time. I know we only have guns, but we don’t have scientists and industrialisation did not take place yet.  Japan fight invaded China. I didn’t know why a small country could invade a big country like China, but then I know Japan has a lot of technologically advanced weapons. They’re very unified and they’re knowledgeable about technology.  In Nanjing, the Chinese didn’t have any ability to resist so more than 300,000 people were killed in this period. Japan invaded China for about 8 years, but the other countries in the world like America, they have smart scientists and advanced technology. They have enough resources so they can research how to make a strong weapon to resist.

Some Americans said, “they thought that they would be happy if the Japanese were killed”. They supported the government to drop the bombs. They expressed how people hated the fascist so I didn’t see any compassion towards Japan in the documentary. For Japan, they lost 2 cities and they lost about 200,000 people, but for China, they lost 1 city and 300,000 people. Other countries in Asia like Singapore were also invaded by Japan.
