There is a new law about animals can’t be eaten, which include cats and dogs. This city called Shenzhen, it’s the first city that ass this law. It’s about to protect wild animals and animals as pets, such as cats and dogs.

I think this is a good thing, both for humans and animals. Lots of animals are the same as humans, we shouldn’t eat so much animals, especially wild animals. Cats and dogs as pet of humans, they are friends of humans, we have deeply emotion with them, so I can’t imagine that people would eat them. If now the law passed this thing, I think it’s good. It can limit someone who want to eat dog and cats, and the other wild animals.

Cats and dogs act as pets for humans, they are friends of humans, we have close connections with them, so I can’t imagine that people would eat them. If the law is in effect, I think it’s good. It can limit someone who wants to eat dog and cats, as well as the other wild animals.

Shenzhen, in southeastern China, has become the first city in the country to ban the consumption of cats and dogs, the government announced Thursday.

Under new rules which will come into effect May 1, the government said it will be illegal to eat animals raised as pets.

In February, following the coronavirus outbreak, China passed a law to ban the consumption of wild animals.

Now Shenzhen will prohibit the consumption of state-protected wild animals and other terrestrial wild animals taken from the wild, as well as captive-bred and farmed terrestrial wild species.

In addition, the consumption of animals raised as pets, such as cats and dogs will also be banned.

Animals that can be consumed include pig, cattle, sheep, donkey, rabbit, chicken, duck, goose, pigeon, quail, as well as aquatic animals who are not banned by other laws or regulations.

“If convicted, they will be subjected to a fine of 30 times of the wild animal’s value, if the animal is above the value of 10,000CNY [US$1,400],” announced authorities.

There is a movie called <Fruits of life>. It is a Japanese film that records a pair of old couple’s life which is simple and peaceful. I think that’s my ideal life when I retire.

I want to live far away from city center, and live in a house which has basement and courtyard. Then my husband and I can paint in the basement and plant lots of plants and trees in the courtyard especially mint and osmanthus. But at first, I will plant roses around my courtyard then there will be lots of roses, butterflies and bees, and of course the air will fill with the scent of roses. I can hear the sounds of bees, smell the scent of flowers and see the lively nature in summer. When autumn comes, I can smell the sweet scent from osmanthus. My husband can keep some little goldfish and bowl lotus in ceramic cylinder, and we have a Chinese Garden Dog together. We play with her and she spent time with us when we are painting or reading every day, and I make different meals for us.

This simple life is peaceful and interesting which is also my ideal life.
