Vocabulary

1.resort= 度假酒店/ 度假村
ex: I went to a resort in UK, it was beautiful.

2. golf course= 高尔夫球场⛳️
ex: There are many golf courses in SH.
ex: GuanLan Lake is my favorite golf course in SH.

3. hotspring = 温泉♨️
ex: We need to wear bathing suit when we go in the hotspring.

4. dress code= 着装需求
ex: There’s a dress code for the afternoon tea.
ex: In Shanghai, there’s no dress code for fine dining.

5. gallery= 画廊
ex: I like to go to the gallery to look at the art pieces.
ex: Is there a dress code at the gallery?

6. fine dining = 高级餐厅
ex: There’s no dress code in fine dining.

7. cheap (人）=抠门
（东西）= 便宜
ex: your company is so cheap, you don’t even have dining quota.

8. sleep in= 睡懒觉
ex: I love to sleep in on Sundays! It helps me catch up on my sleep.
ex: The first few months of parenthood are tough! You’ll dream about sleeping in! 

9. sleep over=去别人家借宿、在别人家里过夜
ex: It was so nice to see my high school best friend again! We talked until late and I decided to sleep over rather than drive home in the dark.
ex: For my birthday, I think I want to have a big sleepover! We can eat ice cream and watch movies!

10.turn in= 上床睡觉
ex:Is that the time? It’s late! I think I’ll turn in. Goodnight!
ex: You look exhausted! What time did you turn in last night?

11. turn (sb) in =举报（谁）
ex: I want to turn myself in. 我想自首
ex: you should turn yourself in. 你应该自首

I went to the UK for the trip, I went to the countryside. I went to the farm park in UK. My birthday trip, I went to the resort, this hotel has a large garden, the garden have a golf course and a very great hot spring. We stay one night. The second day, my friends and I went to the Cotswold, we stay at Cotswold 2 days. We went to Oxford University and went ponting and falconry. I was wearing gloves and the trainer let the falcon stand on my hand.

On the fourth day, we went to Bourton-on- the-water. We visited Roman Bath Museum. We stay at Bath one night. On the 5th day, we went to Hampshire. After breakfast, we went to Stonehenge, it’s a very large stone. Every stone has 50 tonnes, it’s breathtaking. At the afternoon, we went to a TooHard Manor from Pride and Prejudice.

On the 6th day, we went clay- pigeon shooting. My first time wear dress and horse-riding. On the 7th day, I went to city center. I went to the British Museum and the National Gallery. On Oct 8th, I went to England Bank and worked. On Oct 9th, I went to Thailand, Bangkok.
