1. polygamy= 一夫多妻制
ex: The Mormons believe that polygamy is good.

2. penalty (noun)= 处罚
ex: the penalty is only 750$, so it’s not a big offense.

sometimes I have this question about this topic, because there are lots of articles about Qing Dynasty in China. Polygamy was normal. Sometimes I think why one man can have lots of wives, but one woman cannot have lots of husbands. in the matriarchal society, woman is important, everyone know who is their mother, but they don’t know who is their father. After that period of time, men became more dominant, after that, men became more important because they need more children.

sometimes I have questions about this topic, because there are lots of articles about Qing Dynasty in China. Polygamy was normal. Sometimes I think why one man can have lots of wives, but one woman cannot have lots of husbands. in the matriarchal society, woman was important, everyone knew who is their mother/ the identity of their mother, but they don’t know who their father was. After that period of time, men became more dominant, after that, men became more important because they needed more children.

The fact that the Utah state has always been one of the places in United States where the polygamy in Utah is still alive is a very well known fact in United States and thanks to that there were a few series that are exploiting that thing. For example there is “Big Love” a series featured on HBO, where the main characters are part of a polygamous family from Utah, living in the first decade of the 21st century. One thing that people find very appealing about this series is the fact that it is able to explore the complex problems that are coming up in a polygamy family in Utah and this means all the legal, moral and religious issues that might occur in a polygamy family are going to be presented.

I would like to choose my visual if I have to pick one out of all the basic senses, cause I like to see sky, white clouds and flowers etc.
I would lose all the colors both in my life and paintings if I can’t see anything. Moreover, there will be lots of dangerous if I am a blind person, such as I couldn’t find direction and get lost easy. More importantly, I have to give up painting and can’t do little things by myself. I can’t imagine my life without seeing everything.
