quarantine: time away from other people to stop a disease from spreading

eg. I am worried about having to spend 14 days in quarantine if I leave the city.

eg. She had been placed in quarantine at a hotel near her house.

abroad/overseas

compulsory: you must do it because of a rule or a law

eg. Running every week was compulsory at my school.

pot noodles/instant noodles

fried dumplings – 锅贴

prepared meals/ready-to-heat meals – packaged food you find in convenience stores like 7-11

Grammar

the virus break out overseas recently – the virus broke out abroad recently/there has been a recent outbreak of the virus overseas/abroad recently 

twice or third time – two or three times 

we worry about that – we’re worried about it 

the use of grammar is really confusing for me – using correct grammar is confusing to me
