Original:

Before Tomb-sweeping day, I arranged a fulfilling holiday plan. I bought 2 movie tickets to watch Dumbo and bought one Dumbo kite. In the 1st morning, when I helped my son to brush his teeth he said ā€œMum I donā€™t feel wellā€. I felt his forehead and I felt horrible, my son had a fever. After taking his temperature I decided to bring him to the hospital to rule out the flu.
We went to a public hospital and my son didnā€™t have the flu but his white blood cell number reached 20k (normal range is 5-10k). The doctor suggested us to take the IV but I refused because my son has never had IV before and I didnā€™t want my son to use this intense method of treatment. ļ¼ˆCorrectedļ¼‰
Then the doctor prescribed 2 kinds of antibiotics and 2 kinds of Chinese medicines. After we left the hospital I brought my son to have a massage to bring down a fever and gave him 4 medicines. He didnā€™t have fever on that day, but at the midnight he woke up and told me he felt really itch and I found there was a lot of rash on his body. In the 2nd morning, we went to the public hospital again. I wanted to confirm if the wash was caused by the antibiotics or not, if yes, what we can do next. When we told the doctor my sonā€™s symptom and show her the rash, the doctor said that she couldnā€™t confirm if it is an allergy of antibiotics and the rash seem like the scarlatina. We did a blood test again and the report showed the white blood cell number declined to almost normal range. The doctor suggested us to change another antibiotics and continued to use 2 kinds of antibiotics.
According to her suggestion, I gave the new antibiotics to my son but he got the fever again after his had a nap and his rash became severer. I was really worry about him and was afraid if he took the scarlatina because these bacteria would harm humanā€™s organ especial kidney. And my son looked really uncomfortable. My husband and me decided to bring my son to private hospital once he has dinner.

To be honest, the private hospital is really better than the public hospital except the price. The environment and the experience of doctors.

Edited Version:Ā

Then the doctor prescribed 2 kinds of antibiotics and 2 kinds of Chinese medicine. After we left/finished our visit the public hospital I brought my son to have a massage in order to bring down his fever and I gave him all 4 medicines. Later in the day he didnā€™t have fever, but at midnight he woke up and told me that he felt really itchy and I found there were a lot of rashes on his body. On the 2nd morning, we went to the public hospital again. I wanted to confirm if the rash had been caused by the antibiotics or not, and if yes, then what we can do next. When we told the doctor about my sonā€™s symptom and showed her the rash, the doctor said that she couldnā€™t confirm if it is an allergy caused by the antibiotics or the rash could beĀ scarlatina. We did a blood test again and the report showed that the white blood cell count declined to almost within a normal range. The doctor suggested that we change to a different antibiotic and we continue to use 2 kinds of Chinese medicine.

According to her suggestion, I gave the new antibiotics to my son but he got aĀ fever again after he had a nap and then his rash became more severe. I was really worried about him and was afraid if he had contracted the bacterial-disease called scarlatina which would can cause harm to a humanā€™s organs especially the kidneys. And my son still looked really uncomfortable. (I began to start thinking that the doctors we had visited are misinformed.) At this time, My husband realized had better consider this situation very carefully and so we decided to bring our son to the nearest private hospital once he had dinner / after he had dinner / as soon as possible.Ā

To be honest, the private hospital is really better than the public hospital. Of course the private hospital is more expensive in cost but the quality of the care provided by the doctors is worth the price. My husband and I appreciated/were impressed by the environment and the overall experience of doctors.

After the consultation, gave my son an imported antibiotic as prescribed by the private hospital doctor and my son got better.
