lose touch – verb phrase – not stay in touch
We lost touch after we finished university

stay in touch – verb phrase – don’t lose touch
Another friend of mine stayed in touch with her, so she was able to help us get back in touch by making a Wechat group.

nostalgic – adj – good feeling of remembering old memories
Talking to my childhood friend made me feel nostalgic

recognize – v – to know someone/something from sight, sound, smell, touch
We might not recognize each other when we meet

since + time passed / a specific time
Use ‘since’ + time passed / a specific time to talk about something that has continued to happen or not happen from a past time until now
I have not eaten since dinner (dinner time = a specific time)
I have not seen you since last week (last week = a specific time)
I have not been to Beijing since 3 years ago (3 years ago = time passed)
I have not talked to my childhood friend since 20 years ago
