1. Fireside chat host
Hello everyone! And welcome to the Fireside Chat session! I know it’s pretty early and I appreciate the attendance of all of you!

I’m the host for today’s session. My name is Natalie and I’m currently in the GRCN direct team as a key account manager. Today we’ve invited Ayaka to be our speaker to share about her career journey. Thanks Akmal for organizing this session for us! I personally look very forward to it!

I’m pretty sure that we’ll find today’s chat to be useful. As we’ll:
Firstly, understand different opportunities of career journeys and growth paths
Secondly, have accessibility to senior GCS members for open communications and X-team learnings

Okay, moving to today’s agenda:
We’ll have Arlene to give an opening (speech/statement/NA?)
Then our speaker Ayaka will introduce herself.
After that we’ll run the panel discussion and a live Q&A

Cool! Mic to you Arlene! (hand over to you arlene)!

Thanks Arlene for the encouragement! That was a really inspiring talk! Ayaka, would you like to introduce yourself a little bit?

Thanks Ayaka for sharing her career journey with us! Just the same as you, I got in Google by networking as well! Being proactive is the key to success!

Now we’re moving to the dory. Thank you guys who have proposed your questions on the dory. (We’ll do the first 5 of them, for the last one, we can do them in the live Q&A). Cool cool, maxi, do you wanna ask the first question?

Okay, the second question is from Emily. Ben are you online?

Thanks everyone! Let’s go to the live Q&A. If anyone has any questions for Ayaka, please unmute yourself. (I wanna ask a question!)
Potential questions :
To start this discussion today, please share with us your top career turning moment ?
Most of the team is new to google, new to the corporate environment, what advice would you provide them when starting out at Google?
How did you overcome the imposter syndrome as you joined and worked in this talent heavy company ?
Top advice you have received in your career journey ?
[Optional to share] What is the biggest setback you’ve faced in your career and how did you navigate that ?

Sorry as we’re running out of time, we’ll take one more question. Okay, time’s up and I’m happy to end the fireside chat here. I hope all of you have learnt sth from Ayaka! Thanks Ayaka, thanks Arlene and thanks Akmal for organising this! And I’ll see all of you in the next fireside chat session which will be on January 6th and we’ll have Shaochun to be with us! Stay tuned and have a good one!

One last thing, please don’t forget to give us your feedback! I’ll send out the survey later. See you guys!

2.Of course! I’ve shared the meeting questions with you. Don’t need to help me modify them but I feel it might be better to let you know what I’m gonna ask her latter.

3.Hi Ayaka, thanks for attending this Career Fireside! So looking back your 12+ year journey at Google or your whole career maybe, what skill/ learning that you feel have constantly urged you to thrive and have one step ahead , and that you wish you could found it as early as possible? Thanks!

4.It’s alright! then we can have more time to compile the Dory questions

5.I’ve got the slides and questionnaire down. I’ll still send them to you this afternoon. The slides have been done and here I’m sending them to you for review.
