Online Class Notes (Jesse) [W]

Use some of the words from today but focus on making sure all of your verbs are the right tense. And check the vocabulary sentences I gave you to see if you used the words correctly.

When I lived in Liverpool, it is near to Manchester and I went there by myself very often. It took about 45 minutes by train from Liverpool to Manchester. After I got off the train I go straight to shopping mall to do some shopping. And when I finishd I went back to Liverpool as quickly as I could because it was dangerous when I was alone on the road. When I met my boyfriend, we traveled together. He likes to visit some famous spots however I just want to do some shopping. I thought I didn’t have much memory about Manchester, but there was a special thing I remembered till now. at the train station, when I walked, there was a teenager asked me if I could give 10 ponds to him. I was shocked at that time but finally I gave 50 ponds to him which was the entire money in my wallet. when he left, I thought he was a bad guy. But there was a Chinese proverb “when you lose money, you will be safe” and the boy was 17yrs probably. In china he was not adult, and I was older than him so I just thought I gave money to my brother.

Today I was shocked by one thing, when I review vocabulary with my son, he told me if he didn’t know the word which teacher talked to him, he would need to stand up to repeat. and in maths class, when he was not good at learning counting, teacher would beat his hand. I was shocked. Then I send message to their school keeper. she replied it was not true and it was all about my son’s imagine. However I have much doubt about that. My and my husband are now looking for a new school for my son.
