Yesterday I read a piece of news from website which is related to the international Emmy Awards. As we know, international Emmy awards normally grants some TV programs or Television workers which are outside America, but in 2020, the organizer of Emmy Awards announced that the winner was Andrew Cuomo，the Governor of New York. This is the first time for the Emmy Awards and make me curious to explore the reason, so I read the whole announcement which explained the story. The announcement said, from the first epidemic news conference which was held in Mar. 2, Cuomo shared the new data of Covid19 to public, presented effective policy, and point out the importance for wearing masks and keeping social distance. As per the data from TV rating report， the news conference attract more than 60million Americas to watch. Under Cuomo’s leadership, New York’s epidemic was being controlled gradually, the number of inpatients of decreased from 18,825 to 1,220 in 2 months. Now New York is the lowest positive rate of swab test among all states of America, that was the reason in that Cuomo could get this award.
