Online Class Notes (Jesse) [W]

Writing exercise

We had an order to make school uniforms for 1300 students in 40 classes. Because they ranged from 7 years old in primary school to 18 years old in senior high school, so we made 13 sizes for each style to solve the problem. And furthermore, we opened an online shop exclusively for selling. But a lot of parents complained that they were confused with so many sizes. During the summer holiday, they asked: would you please bring all clothing to sell in our school? I still remember on the first day, around 100 families came to school just like water flood. People lined up for long time, they were unhappy and complained a lot. For us, we didn’t have time for lunch, and had to work overtime to finish the tasks. After work, I thought over and over again, suggested my boss if it was possible to classify all clothing into sizes instead of styles, he accepted my idea. So on the second day, we came to school one hour earlier to classify all clothing according to different sizes. As a result, families didn’t need to line up for too long time, they were satisfied with us and gave us a lot of good reviews. For us, we had time to make a rest in turn and finish our tasks on time.

Jason looked at his watch. It was time for his favorite TV show. He turned on the TV. He sat down in his chair. But then he heard his dog. His dog was scratching at the door. Oh, no, Jason thought. The dog wanted to go out. The dog had to go to the bathroom. If he lived in a house, he could let the dog go out the door and into the yard. But he lived in an apartment. He didn’t have a yard. He had to take the dog for a walk. But if he took the dog for a walk, he would miss his favorite TV show. The dog scratched at the door again. Jason turned off the TV.

Susan works at the mall. She is a cashier at a clothing store. She’ll start work in an hour. She has a big bag she takes to work every day. She puts her lunch inside. It’s an apple and a sandwich. She puts her water bottle inside. She puts her name tag inside. She puts her wallet inside. She puts her car keys inside. She puts her phone inside. She changes into her uniform. It is a black polo shirt. She can wear any pants she wants. She drives to work. She puts her bag in a locker. She clocks in. She goes to a cash register. She sees her first customer.
