Many years ago, there were not a lot of entertainment activities as today. People usually visited relatives, did some housework or stayed at home for relax. At that time, it was not so convenient to take different traffic ways to go to some far places. People didn’t have smart phones , so the television screen is the only one that they can focus on. But now people can travel around world easily. Some of them are into going to countryside for relax after work. As for me, I would rather stay at home on public vacation, because most tourist attractions are overcrowded. I can’t stand waiting in line for a long time

Some of them are into going to the countryside to relax after working so hard / after working all week / year / month / to relax for their holidays. As for me, I would rather stay at home on / during public holidays, because most tourist attractions are overcrowded and I can’t stand waiting in line for a long time
