Writing exercise
In the year of 2015, I went to Iceland for an adventure tour which was my first time to touch glacier closely and met the aurora. When I arrived Iceland with my friends, we found that we just landed in a wired and unknow planet. It has different landscapes and lots of glacier, we took the mountaineer trucks to the glacier area, then change to the snowmobile to the core area, after that, we put on the spikes, started for a walk in the glacier. It was not easy for the unprofessional to walk on the glacier as it was slippery. Even though we walked slowly and careful, I felt down several times. When we finished the hiking in the glacier, we were back to hotel, suddenly our local guide called me while we were having the dinner, and told us an exciting news: You could see the aurora at that night, please ran to seaside for waiting. We didn’t believe at that time, we screamed and put on our down jacket rapidly and rushed to seaside, when we arrived, the aurora has already happened. We were shocked by the beauty and felt touched. That was an unforgettable scene for us, we all thought we would be back again to repeat the happiness.
