Also, since many medical schools provide general family medicine training just in recent years, the number of qualified general practitioners is not enough.

It’s time for us to solve these problems. Related policies and incentive mechanism are indispensable for the healthy and sustainable development of general family medicine. What’s more, the training of general practitioners should be brought to a focus. Junior general practitioners are required to take rotations and training for 3 years to improve skills levels and enrich clinical experience, while senior general practitioners can take part in distant training. Singling out potential talents and grooming them are also helpful for training more general practitioners.
