Chinese New Year is coming soon. When it is Chinese New Year’s Eve, my parents will prepare a lot of candy, fruits and all kinds of dishes. They will prepare the pork dish, fish dish, and chicken dish. Many of my favorite dishes will need a long time to cook. I always watch my mom cook because I can learn how to cook. Then we enjoy dinner together. After dinner, my parents give red envelopes to my brother and me. Five minutes before midnight, everyone will set off firecrackers in the doorway to celebrate the new year.

I have been there for 14 days during the Chinese new year but most of the time I just stayed at home but I went out 3 times with my family. We went to the mountain by our car. It was very nice but we just stayed there for few minutes but there was no people there. The air is very fresh.
