soon / later 
soon is quite a short time, maybe a few minutes, but it could be a few days or weeks depending on the situation
later is a bit longer, maybe a few hours, but it could be months too.
eg. At 2PM: Hey do we have class at 2:10PM? Yes, see you soon! – here, “see you later” would be strange because it’s only 10 minutes
eg2. At 2PM: Hey do we have class at 4PM today? Yes see you later! – here, “later” is OK because it’s a few hours, you could also say “soon”

after every conference with you – after every class with you / talk with you
