I started the CNY enjoying the whole Thursday watching Netflix and doing some indoor cycling, due to the weather was propitious for both, since the temperature was less than 8 degree Celsius and the rain did not give us a break. I do recommend an Indian movie called the White Tiger.
Friday was a lazy day as well, but we decided to cook some Brazilian food, such as rice, lentils (because beans are not easy to cook), beef and “farofaâ€. The rest of the day we just organized and cleaned the house. I was able to ride for 1 hour at my indoor trainer too.
Saturday morning we rode 20 km around Shanghai downtown area, crossing the JingAn district, Hongkou and also the Bund. Julia and I finally found an open restaurant with a view for a quick lunch. Afterwards, we kept riding until the sunset, enjoying some moments taking pictures of Shanghai’s heritage buildings.
On Sunday we went to two different restaurants. In the morning we met some friend at the Bulgari hotel, a super fancy restaurant at Bulgari’s rooftop, located on the north side of the Bund. The idea was getting there around 11:30 am for a brunch session with friends and expend as most as possible eating and chatting. By the dinner time, we went to a Korean restaurant in the Xingeng road downstairs the Novel Century gallery. It was a delicious Korean barbecue.
Tonight we are going to visit some friends but firstly we are planning to go to Ikea and to the Gym.
