Yesterday I learned a new word which is called “ghosting†during the dinner with my friends. The word had added into Oxford dictionary in 2018, and from the dictionary you can find the expression of the word which means: Suddenly cut off all communications and terminate relationship with somebody without any explanation. And we have talked whether we had met such case in our life, it was quite fun that everyone experienced that, and the main symptoms was: we met a new friend and added social contents to each other, and we talked a lot through the social media after the gathering, but one day, he/ she didn’t reply and disappear. Also another example was that we had some chatting group with many people, one day you would find someone left the group himself/herself and from that on the guy didn’t contact anyone of the group. And we have discussed why the “ghosting†happened in our life, and found that nowadays, we lived in a pervasive society because of social media, and sometimes you would choose escape and keep yourself alone. Also you can ask yourself, “ Am I a ghosting?†Did I do something like a ghosting, maybe your answer is “ yes†!

Ghosting — when someone cuts off all communication without explanation — extends to all things, it seems. Most of us think about it in the context of digital departure: a friend not responding to a text, or worse, a lover, but it happens across all social circumstances and it’s tied to the way we view the world.
