Grammar

ing verbs = verb nouns – they are the process / action.
eg. I like walking = I like the process of “walk”
eg2. Drinking coffee is common in the west = the act of “drink coffee” is common.

Have you taken your medicine (yet)?
No I haven’t taken it = I have not taken it / I haven’t yet
Yes I have taken it = Yes I have

I don’t like to eat / I don’t like eating pizza. (to do = doing)
(I put “to” because verb eat meant action?)
We don’t like to eat pizza.
He doesn’t like to eat pizza.
Lucas doesn’t(because Lucas is he?) like to eat pizza.

At / By 9AM I had fed my baby 3 times, but now I have fed him 5 times.

I swim every day
I am swimming right now
I have swum today
I was swimming today / I was swimming at 9AM today when you called me.
I will be swimming tomorrow / I will swim tomorrow / When you come to my house at 2PM tomorrow I will be swimming.

I will have swum when you arrive tomorrow = finished before you arrive
