In nowadays,young people are important consumers of fashion industry, so lots of luxury brands try to make some changes to entertain young consumers. After Loewe made the crossover with Totoro, Gucci decided to partner with Doraemon to attract young consumers. This was the second time that Gucci cooperated with famous Cartoons which was in 2019. Last time Gucci took the crossover with Micky and Mini and it brought them a great success, so that they wanted to repeat again. But this time, they received criticism from the public because many people think that as a luxury brand, the brand should keep its style and maintain its image, as well as it should lead the trend and be the leader of the industry, not to be the follower. As a person who had worked in fashion industry for a couple of years, I support the ideas as brand image is a key bone for a brand,follow blindly may increase sales in a short time, but it will lose the future.

But this time, they received criticism from the public because many people think that as a luxury brand, the brand should keep its style and maintain its image, as well as this, / plus it should lead the trend and be the leader of the industry, instead of being a / rather than being a follower. As a person who (has) worked in the fashion industry for a couple of years, I support the ideas as brand image is key / is essential / is crucial for a brand,and following blindly may increase sales in a short time, but it will cause issues / have consequences in the future / it will eventually lead to failure / lead to the downfall of the brand.
