Yesterday I have got breaking news of media industry: MTV Chinese channel and Xiami online music were closed from 2021. When the news announced, Chinese people who borned in 1980s felt upset since MTV Chinese channel and xiami music were memories of their school days. In those days, watching MTV Chinese channel and downloading your favorite songs from Xiami music were the symbols of fashionable youth. And the youth people imitated the MTV Chinese channel host’s dress, voted for their favorite songs in the xiami music, this was the daily life at that time. Time flies, from the year of 2010, lots of video websites and online music platforms had emerged and gave young people more choices. In addition to music, online games and online shopping had occupied youth’s life, and some traditional TV medias and music websites can’t catch up the rapid development, therefore they are gradually eliminated by the times, and we must get used to saying goodbye to the things we grew up with in rapidly changing world.
