In the first 10 minutes of a new minecraft world – what do you do? try to use the words from today.

Vocabulary

type / kind – zhong lei
eg. what type of computer do you have?

bright – cong ming
eg. my dog is bright

multi = more than 1
player = the person who plays the game

multiplayer = more than 1 player
eg. minecraft is a multiplayer game

single = only 1
player = the person who plays the game

singleplayer = only 1 person can play
eg. the first mario game was singleplayer

smelting – making ore become metal / ingot

ore – the rock from the mine
ingot – the rock after you smelt
eg. I smelt the ore in the furnace to make ingot

brew – to use water to make a drink / potion

inventory – your bags

respawn – come back to life by teleporting
eg. I respawn at my bed

mob – NPCs – other things that are “alive” in the game, that are not players

daylight cycle – from day to night

phase through / pass through – to go from one side to the other
eg. in spectator mode you can pass through blocks
