Writing exercise

My last trip

Last weekend, that was Dragon boat festival, my husband and I thought where we could go in China mainland, because now isn’t possible go out. The problem is that the virus still continues to spread out in many countries, some of them have more or less infected people, and the government of China doesn’t want the people who are out now, come back, so you can leave but you cannot come back, at least at the moment. Going back to the point, a province who doesn’t have any infected people was Hunan, and we always had thought to go to Zhangjiajie city in that province, so we contacted with an agency and asked if was possible we go there, and the answer was ´yes´. That city has no virus problem at the moment, so we could go back and my husband doesn’t need to do quarantine. We wanted to play it safe, so we did the test virus three days early to leave.
When we got there, at the airport, we needed to fill some forms with many details such as when was the last time that we returned from Spain etc, and also had to do at the hotel, but everything was fine. We were finally there. we went to sleep because the next morning we will get up early.
We got up at 7:30, took a shower and then we had a nice breakfast in the restaurant of the hotel.

Last weekend, which was the Dragon boat festival, my husband and I thought about available vacation places /good places to go in China mainland, because now it isn’t possible to go out/leave the country. The problem is that the virus still continues to spread in many countries, some of them have a lot of confirmed cases while others have less, and the government of China doesn’t want the people who are out now to come back, so you can leave but you cannot come back, at least at the moment. Going back to the point, a province that doesn’t have any infected people was Hunan, and we had always thought about going to Zhangjiajie city in that province, so we contacted an agency and asked if it was possible that we/for us to go there, and the answer was ´yes´. That city has no virus problem at the moment, so we could come back and my husband doesn’t need quarantine(n)/to quarantine(v). We wanted to play it safe, so we did the virus test/test for the virus three days prior to leaving.
When we got there, at the airport, we needed to fill out some forms with many details such as when was the last time that we returned from Spain etc, and we had to repeat this process/do them again at the hotel, but everything was fine. We were finally there. We went to sleep early/right away because the next morning we will get up early.
We got up at 7:30, took a shower and then we had a nice breakfast in the restaurant of the hotel.
