popular = a lot of people like the thing
running man is a popular show = a lot of people like the show

common = widespread

these people are very loyalty – these people are very loyal
loyalty is a noun, loyal is an adjective

this story is very fantastic – this story is (really) fantastic
“very” doesn’t work with very strong adjectives. You don’t want to say:
very delicious
very awesome
very terrific
very terrible
very wonderful

say “it’s delicious”, “it’s awesome”…
