My New Year Resolution
No. 1 Watch 12 British TV series.
By watching English live-streaming shows and TV series, I can improve my British accent and know more about the western culture. Learning in happiness for pleasure and not for exams is what I will focus on during 2021.
No. 2 Read at least 12 books, regardless of the languages.
Now I’ve already finished one by Zhang Xiaoxian. It features three love stories of three women. All of them end in tragedy. I am now reading Sherlock Holmes in both English and Chinese. I love the plot twists and all the reasoning.
No. 3 Learn to draw simple pictures or play a musical instrument.
I learned drawing when in primary school but I haven’t practiced it for about ten years. I want to pick it up again. I self-learned taught to play the guitar in college. I want to brush up on that as well.
No. 5 Keep a regular lifestyle routine/ schedule.
I am not going to set a very strict timetable, but I must get enough sleep and exercise twice a week.
