Currently, I’m working in a digital marketing agency as an Executive Director. My main responsibilities are to manage Weibo and WeChat platforms, as well as the advertising and operations.

Q: What do you want to learn?
A: I want to build confidence by improving my English speaking. It is my main priority because I want to express myself better.

Q: Where are you from?
A: I was born in Shanghai and I’ve lived here my whole life. Except for that one year that I was in the Dominican Republic.

Q: Oh, that’s so interesting. Why were you in the Dominican Republic?
A: I was doing business there, mainly in the fashion industry managing sales and trade. I created my own brand back there, but I sold it before I moved back to China.

Q: So why did you decide to come back to China?
A: I really love Shanghai and I prefer to live here. Isn’t it so convenient to live here? I missed being able to park my car conveniently, pay with my phone and order delivery whenever I want.

I ordered a pizza delivery and they have a delivery service for up to 3 kilometres. But my house is 3.2 kilometres away and the delivery person is unwilling to deliver the pizza all the way to my house.
