Implicate: a thing implied

By saying that coffee could keep her awake, Mary implicated that she didn’t want any.

Implement: to put something into effect

These are the new rules that our company wants to implement starting from next month.

Procedures vs. policies 

Procedure: an official way of doing something

This is a standard health and safety procedure.

Policy: action or principle adopted by the government, business or individual

Our office has a policy of no mobile phones in the meeting room.

Contradict [v]: denying something that is true
