Real Impression Glossy Line

First Point: Clear introduction and mission for what we’re trying to achieve

We’re currently expanding on our current line of Real Impression Lipsticks in order to capture a greater market share and boost the brand awareness for this product line.

Second Point: Talk briefly about the product and what we want to achieve in the future.

At present, 3 textures have been released within the Real Impression line (collection/range) as of 2019, we want to launch a new product that is based on the glossy texture.

3 textures were launched last year, moisture, matte, glitter and 2019 = glossy texture.

Third Point: Why the glossy texture

After observing the purchasing patterns of  Chinese consumers, we’ve decided to place an emphasis on creating a product that adheres their desire for maximum moisture. This product is also in line with the projected trends for 2019 make up industry and will strengthen the Real Impression collection in the eyes of consumers.

Fourth Point: Why Innis Free Glossy lipstick outperforms our competitors

The baseline function for any glossy type lipstick would be to ensure moisture and a “glossier” texture. What differentiates this new product from our competitors is our attention to detail and commitment to creating a quality, versatile range of products. Within each lipstick, we use a subtle amount of pearl glitter which is reflective from multiple directions and gives a natural volumising look to the lips. Our airy texture prevents a feeling of stickiness or heaviness, remaining lightweight on the lips, ensuring comfort for all-day wear. We have 8 different colours to match various skin tones and brighten the complexion.

Moisture, makes lips glossier = baseline function
Pearl Glitter = subtle to the naked eye but has multiple reflections to give volume
Airy glossy texture = lightweight, not sticky or heavy texture
Eight different colours to match different skin tones and make your face brighter

Fifth Point: About each colour

Within the 8 different colours, there are three types (looks/sub-categories). The first is the Daily Colour range for casual, everyday use. The Vivid Colour range features the most popular colours from the existing Real Impression line and gives them a bold, colourful gloss finish to make a real impression. The Trendy Colour range highlights a fashion-forward (contemporary/fashionable/popular/stylish)  colour within the China market that has brown red tones.

Sixth Point: Product Design

The lipsticks within our new glossy range will also have fresh exterior packaging, with a glossy (glittery/bright/sparkly) metallic finish to make it stand out against other products.
