eg: His cold will clear up if you keep giving him healthy food.
a runny nose – snot coming out of your nose when you have a cold
eg: He’s had a runny nose for 2 weeks.
allergic (ADJ) – you can’t come in contact with certain things, or your body will have a bad reaction.
eg: My son is allergic to dust mites.
sinuses – the inside part of your nose and mouth, can be easily bothered by things, or blocked if you have a runny nose.

Didn’t – One moment in the past
Haven’t – A period in the past until now 2010 – NOW
eg: He cold still hasn’t cleared up.
Hadn’t – A period in the past until another time in the past, but not until now. 2010 – 2012
eg: His cold hadn’t cleared up.
eg: His cold hadn’t cleared up before we left. But it cleared up in the middle of the trip.
I hadn’t talked to her for a month. (WE KNOW, I HAVE talked to her now.)
I haven’t talked to her for a month. (WE KNOW, I still haven’t talked to her.)
