China has more than 40 great natural mountains, the most 5 famous mountains are mountain Tai, mountain Hua, mountain song, mountain Heng (North), mountain Heng (South).
The country also has unique mountains, because of their location, history and physiognomy, the most famous one is called mountain Lao which locate in Qingdao, Shandong Province.

Mountain Lao is surrounded on three sides by ocean and has 4 branches mountains, the highest mountain top is Ju mountain top which is about 1132.7 meters attitude; second height mountain top is San Biao mountain top that has 683 meters attitude. It also has Shi men and wu mountain tops, 570 and 398.3 meters attitude for each. In the beginning of the earth, there was no Mountain there, but the hot rock under the ground crept up and condensed as granite, after many years earth moving, these granites become a mountain. Scene of mountain Lao is natural, the top half of the mountain are sorts of shaped granites and bottom of the mountain are trees.
Mountain Lao started developing in the early of 1980s, after Chinese economic reform, which become one of the first national great scenery.
