commercials – the advertisements that have a story, (Tv, Radio)

eg: Thai commercials are kinda famous. Most of them are pretty funny and have a good message.

appeal (V.) – to try to make someone do or accept something as right or proper by saying things that are directed at a person’s feelings, attitudes, etc.

eg: You need to make the product appeal to the customer. There are three main ways to do this.

1. Emotional Appeal (Makes them feel something)

eg: She will say, “I love you” if you buy her a diamond.

2. Logical appeal (Give good information about product)

eg: People who buy this product have seen a 30% improvement.

3. Appeal by using credibility ( Someone very smart likes this or agrees) (Use someone who has a lot of Credibility)

eg: Well, bill Gates says you should always eat lemons at dinner. So I think we should eat some lemons.

eg: Bill Gates,   ” Every morning I eat two lemons to stay healthy.”  (Bill Gates selling lemons)
