Vocabulary

I will change my work place – (Will you change your company, or move to a new office?)

I’ll take some time off work. (general, not working for a while) /  I’ll take some time away from work. Before I find a new job.

watch more US drama – watch more US tv shows.

book (v.) – to schedule a specific time

eg: I booked a class for this evening.

sign up – to become a member of a service

eg: I signed up for the gym, but I don’t go there often.

gap ( N. )

eg: You can’t have a gap in your employment if you wanna buy a house. They can check the employment history.

proof of employment – (N.) – some documents that show you legally work for that company

eg: This contract is not proof of employment, because the boss never signed it.

eg: Your contract is proof of employment, with that and your tax forms you can

prove (v.)

eg: Prove that you have a job. Show me your tax info, or your employee ID, or tell your boss to call me.

loan (N.) – something, like money, that you borrow, and give back later.
