How was your year so far?

make sentence is a weakness to me – making sentences is a weakness for me / making sentences is one of my weaknesses.

a distant(ADJ) place

only so many/much – there is a limit.

eg: You can’t keep dating girls at the company. There are only so many girls who work there. Soon you will have dated all of them.

eg: There is only so much time in the day.

eg: I can only drink so much coffee.

eg: My stomach can only hold so many beers.

so far – until now, up to now

eg: So far, we don’t have any results. (results will come in the future)

eg: We’ve had enough time to rest so far.

whether or not – Whether A or B.    Whether A or not A.

eg: Whether (or not) you choose him or her is up to you.

eg: Whether you go to that school or not, you should have a good life.

eg: Whether you relocate(move) to Changsha, Urumuqi, Qingdao or Moscow your salary will stay the same.

cocktail – liquor mixed with something, soda, coca-cola

eg: You can’t just hold a glass of water in a bar in America. People will think you are sick or have a problem. You can, hold any drink that is not clear, like a coke. And people will just assume it’s a cocktail.

eg: I don’t really drink cocktails.

eg: Chinese liquor is often drank just straight, no ice, no mixers.

eg: I like cocktails, because straight liquor burns too much.

Grammar

I don’t go to pubs. (I usually don’t go)

I haven’t been to a pub in a long time. (from past till now, no pubs)

In the New Year’s Eve, people chose some party to celebrate with them friends or relatives, that’s really interesting, but some guys had terrible hangovers. When they wake up, they just remembered one of episode of the celebration.
As me, I don’t like drink alcohol and some place what is crowd and noisy, So I organized a riding by motorcycle in Anji city of Zhejiang province with my colleagues. The whole trip of riding is almost 300km from Shanghai to the destination. That’s amazing because it is my first riding for a distant distance. We also encountered a lot of beautiful things and sense that, such as local scenery and foods, scent of natural, I think that experience will give us a great recollection in the future.
The holidays always go so fast, We need to change my condition instantly to fit my job, and that is priority to me.
