Vocabulary

his spot is empty/open

water it down – add some water, or make it less strong,

eg: Oppo’s first phones were like watered down iphones. Now they have their own characteristics.

spot – 1. a small opening/place    2. a mark or stain

eg: Come sit at our table Mark, I saved you a spot.

eg: I don’t see any parking spots /spaces.

eg: What’s that spot on your shirt?

I spilled some wine, and it won’t come out.

steady – not moving

eg: He has a steady hand for painting.

eg: You want to run at a steady speed.

eg: The singer’s voice is very steady.

stable -not moving easily, support, can hold weight, foundation.

eg: The building was not stable at all so it fell down.

eg: This building is stable thanks to our company’s products.

eg: Buildings that use our products are always stable.

unstable – 1. likely to fall 2. a crazy person

eg: She was unstable so her kids went to live with their grandparents.

eg: The girl always cries because she is unstable.
