drop off – to take someone, and leave them at a place, then you leave

eg: After I pick up my daughter. I will drop her off at the cinema with her mom.

eg: I dropped off that report yesterday.

Last Sunday we went to a hotel in Anji, Huzhou city. And I booked it for one month ago. And they give me a nice discount. We booked two nights for 4 rooms. We went there and checked in at 4pm on sunday. But I have a two appointment on Monday and Tuesday. So I had to bought a ticket of Train from huzhou to Shanghai.

So, did your family stay there while you went back to SH?

Yeah my family stay in the hotel. And I come back to Shanghai. so I woke up very early and my wife drove a car took me to the railway station.

But I can’t find my ticket for the train. So I had to change my schedule. And When I finish my appointment I take train from SH to Huzhou.

So, you went back to Huzhou?

But Tuesday I also have another appointment. My family, we had to wake up early too. And spend for more 3 hours on the way.

On the way where?

On the way from Huzhou to Shanghai.

So, you took the train back to SH together?

No, we drive us car back to SH.

And about 12 o’clock. We drove on Xuhui district. My family took off

You mean you dropped them off?

They took the subway back to home. and meanwhile I went to meet my client at 2:30pm. So this vacation is so tired for us. But my daughter is really happy. Because my wife took her to Hello Kitty.
