spike – a shape that is long and thin, with a point on the end.

eg: Some people have spiked hair.

eg: There is a spike in sales this quarter.

curly – like a circle, not a straight line,     continuous circle

eg: I have curly hair. Because I got a perm.

eg: Do you like curly fries? They’re like french fries, but curly.

fast food – usually already cooked food, ready to go when you order. McDonalds, KFC, Jin Gongfu.

eg: Fast food is generally unhealthy for you.

porridge – zhou, something like rice soup, eaten often in the morning

eg: Porridge is a common part of many people’s breakfast.

picky – you are very careful about the things you choose and things you like

eg: I’m really picky about food.

pineapple – bo lo

eg: If you put salt on pineapple it can be sweeter.    Really? That doesn’t sound good. haha.

majority – the thing that is more than any other similar one.

eg: The majority of Chinese people are Han.

minority – all the other things less than the majority

eg: There are 55 ethnic minorities in China.

ethnicity N. – the DNA background of a person,

eg: China has 56 different ethnicities.
