appointment

walk-in – go in without an appointment

eg: They are not accepting walk-ins today.

Unfortunately, we have to reschedule the meeting, sorry for any inconvenience this brings you.

Postpone – move something to a future time

eg: The meeting has been postponed to next week.

eg: We had to postpone the meeting until next week.

delayed – not long after the original time

eg: We delayed the morning meeting until after lunch, because…

move – change a appointment

eg: I need to move the appointment with the dentist because I have another thing to do.

move up – happen sooner

move back – happen later

put off – do will sth later, usually from laziness or being busy. somewhat negative meaning.

eg: They keep putting off our meeting, I wonder what’s wrong.

eg: Some people are used to not getting enough sleep.

eg: Some people will put off the best treatment time for their health problems.

procrastinate V. – wait to do something

eg: Stop procrastinating and just do your homework.

Sorry there’s a time conflict, so can we reschedule the meeting.

Something came up – an urgent thing happened, that I need to deal with.

I forgot there was already an appointment scheduled for this time, would it be possible for us to reschedule.
