eg: The police drilled down into the case, but still couldn’t find the culprit. He must have escaped.

booming – exploding, doing very well by growing

eg: The economy is booming.

eg: Baby Boomers are people born right after WWII.

Jack of all trades – a person who can do many different jobs, but not the best

eg: People say a Jack of all trades is the master of none.

stay in your lane – focus on what you do, and don’t do other people’s jobs

eg: Those customer service reps should stay in their lane and stop trying to manage people at the office.

eg: There’s always a lot of people who can’t stay in their lane.
