Vocabulary
Hua She Tian Zu – Don’t draw legs on a snake.
eg: There is a saying in Chinese, “Hua she tian zu” it means don’t draw legs on a snake.
pick up – to answer a phone
eg:I picked up several calls in that class.
be used to [ sth. / doing sth. ] – something has become normal for you
eg: I’m used to it. No problem.
eg: They are used to working less.
eg: I’m used to the weather here now. But before I hated it.
eg: Get used to it, because we are not changing it.
eg: I’m used to getting up at 7am.
BE used to (do) – did sth. before, but don’t do it now.
eg: I used to buy many clothes every month. ( but I don’t now. )
Revenue – money coming in
eg: The holiday was created to generate revenue.
eg: The government generates(make) revenue by taxing people.
income – money that you get for work
eg: He has two incomes, from his full time job and his part time job.
