rice noodle – noodle shape, but made of rice

eg: Rice noodles are popular in central China.

eg: I don’t really like those clear noodles.

pool noodle – a long foam thing, shaped like a noodle

eg: A pool noodle is a fun toy.

eg: A pool noodle is about as big around as your arm.

Steam (V.) – to use the hot air coming off boiling water, to cook food.

eg: Steamed food is pretty healthy for you.

Crepe – a French pancake that can be sweet or savory and often has vegetables, meat or fruit.

eg: I don’t think I would like crepes with fruit.

Savory – like a meat taste

eg: Savory foods are best for dinner.

fluffy – a light and airy texture, like clouds or pancakes (American)

eg: In China mantou is a kind of fluffy food.

eg: Cotton Candy is just fluffy sugar with color.

eg: When I eat cotton candy it can be very sticky. – I don’t like cotton candy because my mouth feels very sticky when I eat it.

eg: My father has diabetes and he needs Insulin (diabetes medicine).
